Arson Investigation at Duluth Duplex
Two Families Displaced In Fire
Two families are without a home after their duplex caught fire in what investigators are calling a arson.
It happened Tuesday night at about 10:20 p.m. at 1311 W 1st Street.
The people who lived inside were able to get out safely, and the fire was put out quickly by the Duluth fire department.
The fire started on the front porch, initial damages are estimated at $50,000 to the structure and another $25,000 to property inside.
The Red Cross is helping the displaced families.
