Giants Ridge Officially Opens up New Chalet
The new chalet nearly doubles the size of their old one and enhances their guest's experience.
There’s even more to celebrate at this year’s Fall Fest at Giants Ridge, they officially opened up their new chalet.
The 34,000 foot chalet more than doubles the space of their old one.
Giants Ridge officials said that the space is more user friendly and that this is the first phase of a multi-year investment in the facility.
“The planning, the construction finished up in July. We’ve opened the doors. We’ve had numerous events throughout the summer. It sets the stage for the next thirty to fifty years of the facility,” said Giants Ridge managing director Linda Johnson.
Skiers and those who use the chalet are excited about this winter and the memories it will bring.
“I think it will be really nice. I think it will be a lot more fun just that it’s not just one level, there’s two levels and there’s more window seating so people can watch and stuff like that,” said Logan Jensen, a skier from Bemidji.
The festivities continue through the weekend at Giants Ridge where they will host a 5K and a community barbecue.
