Northland Cubs and Indians Fans Enjoy Game 6, Eagerly Await Game 7
This historic World Series brought out fans and excitement all across the Northland.
Fox 21 spoke to fans of the Cubs and Indians who enjoyed the game at Old Chicago in Duluth.
“Honestly I haven’t been a Cubs fan until the Series started and I heard they were overdue. I jumped on the bandwagon,” said Dale Hansen.
Some are excited to see these two teams be successful again.
“It’s exciting the Cubs 1908, the Indians 1948. Indians a small market and they’re doing it without a lot of money. It’s exciting for both teams and great fan bases. Either way, it will be fun for either team,” said Chris Garinger.
It also brought out some unlikely fans who are rooting for history.
“I usually root for the American League but I can’t help it I love my Cubs,” said Randy Rudd.
You can watch game seven on Fox 21 on November 2nd.
