Superior Police, UWS Launch Community Survey

The Superior Police Department has partnered up with future police officers at UWS to create the city’s first-of-its-kind community survey.

The survey is online right now with questions about safety, satisfaction with officer interactions and perspective on crime, among other questions.

Police Chief Nicholas Alexander says the survey will help create a “report card” for the police department.

“I think there’s community members out there who see and hear things and have concerns that we just aren’t aware of, and this is an opportunity to maybe bring attention to us areas that we just weren’t necessarily neglecting but didn’t know about,” Alexander said.

The survey will be open through the end of December, with results compiled in January.
