Bentleyville Kicks Off for the Season

Santa Made His Grand Entrance Parachuting In

It’s a tradition each year for Santa to parachute in to Bentleyville, and this year it was no different. Thousands of people lined up to watch the grand entrance, and to become one of the first ones to see this year’s lights.

Bentleyville Tour of Lights is America’s largest free walk through lighting display. Visitors enjoy the 20 acre park, lit up by more than 4 million Christmas lights. Kids can get their pictures taken with characters like Rudolph, and if you get too cold, there’s free hot chocolate and cookies.

“This is actually my first time seeing Santa,” said Addie, an attendee.

Event goers also donated gifts and nonperishable food items to the salvation army, at drop off spots located in Bentleyville.

Bentleyville will be open through December 26th.
