Spirit Mountain Prepares for Season
The Resort Has Started Making Snow
The first snowstorm of the season has many people excited to hit the slopes.
Spirit Mountain started its snow making today, and though opening day is undecided, representatives are hoping for cold temperatures to stay. And it’s not just for skiing. The temperatures could determine if this year’s snow cross, will take place as scheduled.
“We’re hopeful that to know a little bit more by Monday morning. If all holds together we’re cautiously optimistic that we’re going to be able to pull off the 25th annual event at the regular scheduled weekend,” said Jodi Ream, the General Manager of Spirit Mountain.
Snow Cross is scheduled to take place the weekend after Thanksgiving.
