Community Discusses Clean Energy
Fall Events Have Been Going on for 3 Years
Minnesota Interfaith Power and Light, and Northland Community solar coalition held an event “Here Comes the Sun” to exchange ideas and information about community solar.
It’s the 3rd fall event of its kind in Duluth, where experts discussed solar energy, and the intersection of clean energy and social justice. Attendees had the chance to hear many speakers from different backgrounds address topics related to renewable energy, and solar happenings in Duluth.
“We’re hoping that the people who come can take away something from understanding the technologies, the techniques, the teamwork, that’s necessary to make these projects happen fast,” said Bill Mittlefehldt, the MC for the event.
The event was held at the Copper Top church.
