Nordic Trails Opening Up at Giants Ridge

Trails will open Friday, Nov. 23

Giants Ridge has received nine inches of snow as of Monday, November 21, with an additional three to six inches expected in the forecast this week.

The Nordic Trails – 40k will open the day after Thanksgiving, on Friday, November 25. Trails will also be open Saturday and Sunday, November 26 and 27.

Daily Nordic ski rates are $13 for individuals opening weekend, group rates are also available call 218-865-8005 for inquiries.

The Nordic trails are NOT open for fat tire bikes at this time.

Snowshoe trails will also open on Friday, but have not been packed or cleared at this time.

Alpine skiing at Giants Ridge will open on Saturday, December 3, as snowmaking continues on the alpine runs as the weather permits.
