Record High Temperatures Bring Northlanders Outdoors
Duluth observed a high temperature of 45 degrees Thursday
DULUTH, Minn. – With temperatures in the 40s today, Duluthians took advantage of the above average weather outside. On the east hillside, lots of people were out biking, running and walking dogs.
The warmup caused some streets to look more like streams, which was a little messy, but that didn’t stop people from enjoying the warmth.
“It’s crazy,” said Lily dettle, who was out enjoying a run after class. “I don’t know if it’s because of global warming. Who knows why, it’s just insane. It’s beautiful out here.”
Today’s temperature in Duluth tied the record high at 45 degrees. The highs are expected to stay above freezing all the way in to next week.
