Superior Mayoral Candidates Talk Key Issues in First Debate

The four candidates for mayor of Superior participated in their first debate on Monday. Wisconsin Public Radio hosted the public debate on the UW-Superior campus.
Kalee Hermanson, Mike Herrick, Brent Fennessey and Jim Paine answered questions from moderators about a variety of topics regarding a variety of issues Superior is facing.
“I’m hoping that I find a mayor that brings businesses to our community,” Cindy Michalski, a Superior resident. “Our city has been pretty flat for a while. We need new housing growth, things for our citizens to do, events for children. We need our business community to grow.”
The primary election takes place on February 21st.
