Vietnamese Lantern In Two Harbors Works To Give Original Recipes
Two Harbors, Minn. – A Vietnamese restaurant in Two Harbors has recently changed owners, who are wanting to serve good, traditional Vietnamese food, with a smile.
For this week’s Knowing Your Neighbors, we’re heading to the Vietnamese Lantern.
Cooking is an art, an art that Lilly Bailey loves to do in her very own restaurant and a restaurant that was a dream come true.
“My dream was to always want to have the restaurant and I like to cook, I love to cook,”says co-owner, Lilly Bailey.
Cooking has come easy to Lilly and keeping the recipe traditional is important
“My partner in there she cooks through the right recipe, some people they create their own recipe you know, she used to cook, she’s been cooking for a long time, she’s uses the right recipe and a lot of people love it,” Says co-owner Minh Huynh.
She has some favorites that she thinks you should try.
“I like to make Vietnamese pho, fried rice egg rolls,” Says co-owner Lilly Bailey.
While business is slow during the winter time, they’re banking on the summer rush to make up the difference.
“I think it’s slow because the winter time, no tourists, hopefully it will get better in the summer time,” said Bailey.
One thing you can count on every time you go is service with a smile.
“Customer is always the number one priority, right you have to be happy serve the customer right, always smile,” Huynh said with a smile.
