Lake Superior Surfers Hang Ten

Surfers Hit the Waves for a new Film

DULUTH, Minn. – Surfers were hanging ten on Lake Superior early Wednesday morning.

About seven or eight surfers waxed their boards, and hit the water near Stoney Point.  They were there…
making a film about winter surfing for an upcoming student film festival.

“I just think it’s so interesting, especially in the winter,” said Brad Nordin, one of the filmmakers.  “It’s two degrees right now, it’s pretty weird to be surfing, especially in Minnesota.”

Nordin’s film will debut next month as part of a festival at Duluth East High School.
