35-Year-Old Arrested and Charged for Sale of Fentanyl

DULUTH, Minn. – Thirty-five-year-old Byron Terrell Robinson, of Duluth, was arrested on Thursday, February 9, after the Duluth and Superior Police Departments along with the Lake Superior Drug and Violent Crimes Task Force conducted a search warrant at an apartment in the 500 block of North 40th Avenue West.
The search warrant was the result of an investigation into the suspected sale of fentanyl. During the search, investigators located and seized 11.5 grams of fentanyl, which was individually packaged for sale; digital scales; and drug packaging.
Robinson was taken to the St. Louis County Jail on sale of a controlled substance charged, which he was formally charged with on Monday, Feb. 13. At the time of his arrest, Robinson was on parole in Douglas County, Wisconsin, where he was convicted of six counts of delivery of heroin.
