Lakewalk Utility Project Started Today

Detour Will be in Place

DULUTH, Minn.-Utility work began today on the Lakewalk trail, between Fitger’s and the old Endion building.

That part of the trail will be closed for about two weeks during the day in order for crews to work on the underground drainage system.

Lakewalk users will take a detour into Lake Place Park and then reconnect back to the trail.

The Lakewalk will reopen during the evening hours and on weekends when crews are not working on the project.
