Whole Foods Co-op Celebrates 1 Year in the Denfeld Location

They Kicked Off the Week With Free Re-Usable Bags

DULUTH, Minn.- The Whole Food Co-op in Duluth is celebrating their Denfeld Location’s 1 year anniversary.

Both the Denfeld and Hillside Locations offered free re-usable grocery bags to the first 100 customers, and had 50% off of their hot and salad bar today as part of the celebration.  Whole Foods Co-op representatives say environmental sustainability is important to the company and believes encouraging people to use reusable bags is in line with their values.

“They’re recyclable, re-usable bags, and they say “I love my co-op and so we would love for all of our shoppers to have those bags and be able to reuse them when they come in on all of their shopping trips,” said Alison Wade, the Brand Manager for the Whole Foods Co-op.

Events, samples, and special sales will be going on at the coop throughout the week for the anniversary celebration.
