DULUTH, Minn. – The popular Great Harvest Bread Company in Duluth is expanding to the downtown area.

Owner Lee Davidson tells FOX 21 the second location will be in the Medical Arts Building on West Superior Street – across from Starbucks.

The new space is the former location of How Sweet It Is bakery.

Great Harvest plans to feature mostly sandwiches in the expanded location and expects to open in late spring.

The original Great Harvest on East 13th Avenue, where all the bread is made, will remain open for business.
