Structure Fire on N 24th Street in Superior

SUPERIOR, Wis. – Just before 6 p.m. this evening, all three fire crews, Battalion Chief, and Gold Cross Ambulance were called to a structure fire at 24 N 24th Street.

Initial reports indicated there was light smoke visible from the front door of a single family home. Crews confirmed a fire in the wall by the main entrance.

All crews worked to quickly extinguish the fire.

No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire has been determined to be faulty wiring in a junction box. Damages are estimated at $5,000.
