Motorhead Madness Car Show Starts Saturday

Remote–controlled car races, free model making for kids, and a used parts swap meet are all planned for the event

DULUTH, Minn. – If cars are your passion, a drive to the DECC is in order this weekend.

The 49th Annual Motorhead Madness car show starts at 10 a.m. tomorrow morning. Owners from around the region will be showing off a variety of cars, both old and new, from the early 1920s up to the 2000s. Vendors will also be there with the latest trends for motorheads.

“We have a long, hard winter,” said Dale Sohlstrom, producer of Motorhead Madness. “We’re coming in to spring and people have been holed up in their houses. People have been working in their garages, trying to build things and get their car ready for summer. Other people have done a total rebuild and here we are, they’re proud to show it off.”

Remote–controlled car races, free model making for kids, and a used parts swap meet are all planned for the event.

Motorhead Madness runs Saturday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. inside the DECC’S Paulucci Hall.
