DULUTH, Minn. – Duluth City Council candidate, Renee Van Nett held a listening session, Sunday at the Duluth Heights Community Center, to hear from potential constituents.

Van Nett is vying for the 4th District City Council seat, and is hoping these listening session will allow her to speak with members of the community and learn their concerns and needs for the area.

“Your constituents are the people you represent. They are exactly why you’re here, put in that place. You’re working for the community. It’s important to do that to get the needs met,” Van Nett stated.

Van Nett is working toward building positive relationships within the community and ensuring the 4th District is well represented and their voices are heard.

The next listening session is being planned for early May, according to Van Nett’s campaign manager.
