Giants Ridge to Begin Operations Under Single Management May 1
IRRRB will continue to own Giants Ridge physical assets and property
BIWABIK, Minn. – Contract agreements have finally been made with the Iron Range Resources and Rehabilitation Board (IRRRB) and a private management firm for the management of Giants Ridge operations.
IRRRB Commissioner Mark Phillips announced today, that the contract was finalized with Guest Services, Inc. in partnership with Billy Casper Golf, to manage all Giants Ridge operations, effective May 1, 2017. This will include golf, ski, rental, retail, concessions, and facilities.
Contracts with vendors will expire on April 30. During the entire month of April, a transitional period will occur, taking the facility from a multi-vendor operational model to a new model that aims to make the location “more efficient and more successful.”
IRRRB will continue to own Giants Ridge physical assets and property.
The new Giant’s Ridge career website will debut this week with transition updates and available employment opportunities.
