Uber Officially Launches in Duluth
Free Rides offered to celebrate the launch
DULUTH, Minn. – Ridesharing app, Uber, has announced that it is officially launching in Duluth, after a few minor holdups with insurance filings.
“We’re excited to formally announce that Uber will be launching in Duluth this afternoon. Ridesharing will bring safe, affordable, and reliable transportation to thousands of Duluth residents and visitors while at the same time creating flexible earning opportunities for hundreds of Minnesotans in the region over the next year,” said Carrol Chang, General Manager for Uber Minnesota.
To celebrate the launch of Uber in Duluth, the company is offering two free rides to Duluth residents up to $15. Users can enter the promo code RIDEDULUTH into the Uber app to redeem free rides beginning Monday, May 1 at 12 p.m. through Thursday, May 4 at 11:59 p.m.
