Korean Veterans Memorial Vandalized, Just Months Apart From Vietnam Memorial Vandalism

Red Lines Can Be Seen Drawn On Military Badges

Duluth, Minn.

Vandals have struck again. This time defacing the Korean Veterans Memorial marking red lines through the badges of 4 branches of military carved into the granite stone. It’s unknown at this time what was actually used to deface the memorial.

This isn’t the first time this year a war memorial along Duluth’s Lake Walk has been struck by vandals.

It was back in January of 2017 that another memorial. The Vietnam Veterans Memorial that sits just feet away from the Korean Veterans Memorial was vandalized with what appears to be gang related signs marked in some kind of white pen.

The graffiti that was sprawled out on the memorial has since been removed and restored to its natural state.
