‘Visit Duluth’ Transitions To New Space In Holiday Center

DULUTH, Minn. – Visit Duluth is in the process of moving into a big section of open retail space in the Holiday Center along West Superior Street.

On Wednesday, employees of Visit Duluth were packing up last-minute boxes in the old building across from Minnesota Power.

Meanwhile, construction crews are busy getting the new space ready – where Brownie’s Furniture used to be located.

Visit Duluth’s CEO, Anna Tanski, says the new location will allow for better access to visitors and the community, especially with the largest hotel property in the city – The Holiday Inn – located directly above.

“Visit Duluth is a resource for the entire community. It’s not just for visitors. So having access to all of our neighbors and people within the community, I think, is really important,” Tanski said.

New doorways are being put in along the West Superior Street property to give easier access to Visit Duluth and future tenants in the 12,000 square foot space open next door.

That space was also home to Brownie’s Furniture, as well as McDonald’s and retail businesses back in the day.
