ReUSE Minnesota Explores Duluth Network

Group has been Operating in the Twin Cities Since 2012

DULUTH, Minn. – A successful Twin cities re-use program Is coming to the Twin Ports.

Representatives from ReUSE Minnesota and the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency met with local re-use businesses to create a network to share resources.

Officials say they’re targeting businesses like thrift stores, habitat restores, and consignment shops.

“These are the stores that allow the rest of us to reuse regularly,” said Madalyn Cioci, an Environmental Specialist with the MPCA and a vice-president with ReUSE Minnesota.  “It gives us a place to put things we are getting rid of, but more importantly it gives us a place to make a consumption choice, to choose a second hand good over a new good.”

ReUSE Minnesota has been active in the Twin Cities since 2012.
