DULUTH, Minn. – All aboard the “Purple Train,” The North Shore Scenic Railroad honored the Minnesota legend on the rails tonight. Prince fans hopped aboard the “Purple Train” to celebrate the late musician’s birthday Wednesday evening. Fans enjoyed food, drinks, and of course, the music.

“To the best of our knowledge, this is the only Prince party on a railroad,” party organizer Josh Miller said. “You have a party on a train, listen to great music by the Minnesota legend himself, on a beautiful evening like tonight.”

Prince would have turned 59 on Wed., June 7. He passed away due to a drug overdose in April, 2016.
