Whipper Snappers get first go at Grandma’s Marathon races
Kids 14 and under hit the ground running at Bayfront Festival Park
DULUTH, Minn. –
The first race of grandma’s weekend got the youngest racers out for a run.
The 27th annual Whipper Snapper races had kids 14 and under dashing across Bayfront Festival park. The kids say it’s a good way to get in on the grandmas action.
“I Like it because it’s a big thing for Duluth, and the kids can do it too,” one young runner said.
“If you’re thinking of doing this but haven’t done it yet, you should definitely do it, it’s a lot of fun.”
