New Foods Announced for the Great Minnesota Get-Together

MN State Fair announces foods joining the already expansive menu

ST. PAUL, Minn – The Minnesota State Fair has announced 31 brand new foods that will be offered this year. From small plates to savory entrees and sweet treats there’s something new for everyone to try.

Some new options include a Bacon Fluffernutter from The Sandwich Stop, which features a grilled cinnamon bun sandwich with a bacon, peanut butter, and marshmallow cream filling.

Another sweet option is a Bowl O’ Dough, and you probably guessed it, it’s a bowl of raw cookie dough. Flavors include Brownie Batter Swirl, Chocolate Chip, European Cookie Butter, and Lemon Ricotta Cheesecake with fresh blueberries. All available from the Blue Moon Dine-In Theater.

If you’re more of a savory foodie, there’s now Deep Fried Avocado at O’Gara’s at the Fair and Slow-Roasted Pork Mole Tamales; a fresh corn tamale with slow-roasted pork, mole coloradito sauce and black bean and pineapple relish available at Tejas Express.
