Musky Fest Begins in Hayward
HAYWARD, Wis.-The 68th annual Musky Fest is underway in Hayward.
The event goes through Sunday and features a variety of activities including a fishing contest where you can win $100,000 if you catch the world’s largest musky.
No matter how much fun it is, the event serves a solid economic purpose.
“Our local economy is driven very, very heavily, by our visitors and guests,” said Chris Ruckdaschel, of the Hayward Chamber of Commerce.
