Far West Fest Invites People to Gary New Duluth
The Event Has Been Going on for 7 Years
DULUTH, Minn.- The Far West Fest continued today on the 1300 block of Commonwelath Avenue in Gary New Duluth.
The festival has been going on for 7 years, with the goal of getting people out to enjoy the neighborhood, and meet their neighbors. The event draws around 5,000 attendees to the neighborhood each year.
“You’ll be surprised at what we can do in a little town like Gary New Duluth.” said Dan Hinnenkamp, the President of Far West Fest. “It’s awesome that you can come out and hang out on the street that 24 hours ago if you would have been standing there you would have been hit by a car. In 24 hours you’ll be hit by a car, so now’s your opportunity to come party on the street.”
The event had cars, music, food, and games.
