Fireworks stands open up in the Northland
With the Fourth of July just around the corner, it's firework season.
DULUTH, Minn. – With the Fourth of July celebrations just around the corner, that means its fireworks season. Fireworks stands are opening up across the Northland. Captain Ron’s Liberty Fireworks is a locally owned stand out on the corner of Rice Lake Road and Martin Road. They say that fireworks are a great way to pay tribute to America.
“That’s why it’s called Captain Ron’s Liberty Fireworks,” owner Ron Burcar said. “It’s about our Independence Day. It’s about our freedom and our independence, our constitution. All the men that have fought, and what everyone has given for this country. We celebrate that once a year, and fireworks are part of that celebration.”
The stand is open seven days a week. They’ll be there a day or two past the Fourth of July.
