Hoops Brewing Ready to Open
DULUTH, Minn. —
It’s official – Hoops Brewing in Canal Park is opening its doors to the public tomorrow.
The craft brewery, founded by veteran brewer Dave Hoops, will feature eight beers on opening day.
Their beer hall seats 250 and customers will be able to take the beers home in large cans called “crowlers.”
“It’s a wonderful space that we’ve done a lot of hard work on, so I’m excited to finally have the beers that we’ve been making available for people,” said head brewer Melissa Rainville.
Rainville tells Fox 21 that among the beers that will be available they’ll have a hefeweizen, a dunkelweizen, blonde ale, amber ale, summer ale, and a few types of pale ales.
The brewery has been under construction for many months, and the brewers say they are excited to become a part of the canal park community.
“I think it’s a huge opportunity for us,” Rainville said. “I know that we’ve had a really warm reception from a lot of the existing business owners around the area.”
The doors open at 11:00 am tomorrow.
