Duluth Pack Crafts Leather Backpack for Ed Sheeran

DULUTH, Minn. – Duluth Pack has announced that they are teaming up with Xcel Energy to create a hand-crafted bag for singer Ed Sheeran.

The company has selected its most popular backpack style, the Leather Standard Backpack. To customize it for Sheeran’s style they have used a pebbled leather material, along with the traditional features including leather straps, rivets, zippers and snaps. Xcel Energy’s logo will also be featured on the inside, front pocket.

Duluth Pack tells FOX 21 that it sometimes takes a little research to find the product that’s right for the artist. “We’ll check to see what products they like to carry, what their style will be and then we’ll gift them products accordingly,” said Duluth Pack Sales and Marketing Manger, Ryan Hanson.

Duluth Pack will be delivering the backpack and several logo items to the artist who is performing at Xcel on Saturday, July 1.

“We are thrilled to be partnering with our friends at Xcel Energy Center once again this year to handcraft one of our top-selling backpack styles for Ed Sheeran,” said Andrea Sega, Duluth Packs Public Relations and Social Media Analyst. “Our goal is for Ed to remember his time visiting our great state of Minnesota every time he uses his Duluth Pack backpack and apparel pieces.”

In the past, Duluth Pack has crafted items for Mumford and Sons, Maroon 5, Dave Matthews Band, and others.
