Families Hit the Beach for a Pool Party in Cloquet

Party at Pinehurst Park Features Sack Races and Cannon Ball Contest

CLOQUET, Minn. – Plenty of families hit the beach in Cloquet enjoying the Fourth of July sunshine.

The beach at Pinehurst Park was packed with kids enjoying all kinds of activities like sack races and a cannon ball contest. Park officials say families from across the area came out to have some fun in the sun.

“Especially when they’re all swimming together and having fun as a family, it’s really touching to see,” says beach supervisor Ali Chalberg.

Other Independence Day activities in Cloquet included helicopter rides, a car show, and veteran’s parade.
