Duluth Public Library Hosts ‘Escape Room Party’ for Teens
Local teens attempt to save humanity from zombie apocalypse
DULUTH, Minn. – It was a zombie apocalypse down at the Duluth Public Library on Thursday. That was the theme — at least for an escape room party.
It’s part of the library’s summer programming for teenagers.
The teens put together clues to find a cure to save humanity from the zombie takeover.
Library officials say it’s important to engage teenagers just as much as children.
“It’s really important to us to have activities and things to draw [teens] back and make sure they know the resources that the library can provide for them, and make sure they become lifelong library users,” Duluth Public Library’s Heidi Harrison said.
