Silver Bay Residents Celebrate Bay Days

The Festival Has Been Going on for Years

SILVER BAY, Minn.- Bay Day celebrations are continuing in Silver Bay.

The festival has been going on for years, but grows bigger each year. Organizers say this year the festival has cost 45,000 dollars to put on, but that the experience has been well worth it.  Friends and families enjoyed eating at food trucks, checking out craft booths, and jumping in bouncy houses.

“We do it because we absolutely love this community and the support we get, and we’re able to put on an event for the people of silver bay and the surrounding communities,” said Faron Meeks, the Co-Chair of Bay Days. “And it’s a long weekend for the committee but to see people having fun and family night last and seeing kids bouncing around and having fun, it means everything.”

The festival continues until Sunday, but most of the big events, like their live concert, wrapped up Saturday night.
