County Needs Your Help to Fight Aquatic Invasive Species
County Has $711,000 to Fight the Problem
DULUTH, Minn.-St. Louis County needs your help to fight aquatic invasive species.
The county was recently given a grant worth $711,000 to battle the problem.
Right now they want the public’s input on what should be done to protect all our waters.
“St. Louis County is such a massive county with over a thousand lakes,” said Michael Scharenbroich, senior planner for St. Louis County. “We can’t have inspectors on all these lakes feasibly and the funding goes pretty quickly, so we have targeted priorities identified in the plan.”
The deadline to submit your ideas is Dec. 6.
