One Person Killed in Brule ATV Crash

Crash Occurred on Friday

BRULE, Wis.-One person has died after an ATV crash in Brule over the weekend.

The victim has been identified as Wendy Davis, 40, of Brainerd.

The crash occurred at about 7 p.m. Friday. According to the initial investigation, Davis was operating an ATV on Old Highway 2 and failed to negotiate a curve and left the road, striking a utility pole.

She was not wearing a helmet and was pronounced dead at the scene.
