Woman Found on Fire Identified, Police Continue to Seek Witnesses
DULUTH, Minn. – Just before 2 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 19, the Duluth Police Department responded to the call of a woman on fire at 11501 Highway 23.
Responding officers located a severely burned woman who was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. The woman has been identified as 24-year-old Jaclyn Arnold, of Duluth. Arnold is currently in critical condition at a Minneapolis hospital.
Duluth Police are currently seeking witnesses who may have been on Hwy 23 near the area of Lake Superior College Fire Training Center during the time of the incident. Police have confirmed there is no connection between LSC and the woman.

The investigation is ongoing at this time and police are considering it criminal, but do not believe the community is at risk at this time.
