New Moose Lake School Brings Pride to Students

School Includes Much Needed Commons Area

MOOSE LAKE, Minn.-A new school is up and running in Moose Lake.

Back in 2014, voters in that region approved a $35 million referendum to build a new school.

Construction began last summer with the goal of creating a more modern school that wasn’t flood damaged like their old one.

School officials told us their new digs are making everyone in the community smile.

“This community came together with a common purpose and we can see the results of that,” said Bob Indihar, the Moose Lake Superintendent. “It’s just very gratifying.”

Among the highlights of the new school include more natural lighting and a much needed commons area.
