Wisconsin Great Northern Railroad Offers Year Round Fun

Railroad Has America's Only Bed and Breakfast Dinner Train

TREGO, Wis. – If you’re looking for a trip to take this winter, a railroad in Trego offers the country’s only bed and breakfast dinner train.

The Wisconsin Great Northern Railroad takes riders to scenic spots in the north woods five nights a week all year long.

They also host special events and will have a Santa train this holiday season.

“You ever watch the little ones when they come on the property, their eyes just light up,” said Greg Vreeland, President and General Manager. “They see the trains in cartoons and they kind of grow up with a romance of the railroad. Families just absolutely love the trains.”

“You can go on Amtrak and that’s literally in this country the only you can do an overnight train trip other than coming and riding with us here in Trego.”
