Brookston Home Destroyed By Fire

One Person Escaped Without Injuries

A family home has been destroyed in Brookston after a fire broke out there Sunday afternoon.

St. Louis County deputies and local fire departments responded a report of a fire at 4792 Stevens road in Brookston.

When they arrived the house was engulfed in flames, its now been deemed a total loss.

One person was at home during the fire, but they were able to get out safely.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
