Superior Festival Will Include a Kids Zone, Snow Slide, and Pond Hockey Tounrnament
SUPERIOR, Wis. – The Lake Superior Ice Festival is coming this weekend to Barker’s Island in Superior.
This year’s festival will include a “kids zone” with craft activities and ice princesses for the kids to meet.
The festival will also have live ice carving, a snow slide, a pond hockey tournament, and many more activities.
“The community has gotten behind this, the city wants to bring people here and celebrate winter,” said Linda Cadotte, Director of Parks, Recreation, and Forestry for the City of Superior. “There are enough variety of activities that if you don’t find something that really excites you, I’d be surprised.”
The festival kicks off on Friday and runs through Sunday.
