Man Injured in Snowmobile Crash in Cook

Victim Has Non-Life-Threatening Injuries

COOK, Minn.-A 42-year-old man was injured at about 3:30 p.m. yesterday in rural Cook, after he was thrown from a snowmobile he was on, which caused him to get hit by another snowmobile coming in the opposite direction.

The victim in Reid Nelson, has non-life-threatening injuries on his face. He was wearing a helmet when the incident occurred on the Bearskin Snowmobile Trail near Highway 73.

A ski on Nelson’s snowmobile caught the edge of the trail which caused him to be thrown from the machine.
