Bluegreens Thank Fans for Growing Support

Duluth FC say they owe a lot of their success to the fans who show up to the games.

DULUTH, Minn. – What a weekend it was for Duluth FC as the Bluegreens captured their first playoff win in club history.

During their penalty shootout when Alberto Ciroi made a save, he immediately looked at the crowd. Same thing with Kyle Farrar when he made the game–winning goal. It’s clear that the players share a special bond with their fans.

“They gave us an unbelievable boost and a great, great push for us. As soon as I get in, I hear all of them cheering my name and cheering me up. That’s what probably gave me the most power,” said Ciroi.

“They’re amazing. Year after year they grow. We’ve been doing this for three years now and it’s just great to see the support that we’re drumming up now and today kind of topped it off,” Farrar said.
