Gov. Walker Visits Northland
As we close in on election day, that means multiple candidates are stopping in the Northland to drum up support for their campaign.
SUPERIOR, Wis.-As we close in on election day, that means multiple candidates are stopping in the Northland to drum up support for their campaign.
Today was no different as Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker held a rally at the Bong Airport in Superior.
Walker is in a tight race against Democratic candidate Tony Evers.
Walker said even though the polls are tightening, he is confident in a victory tomorrow.
“From our standpoint, this election is that close – it couldn’t be any closer from our standpoint going forward,” he said, adding that polls also show residents of Wisconsin have shown they like the direction the state is going, which indicates he will do well tomorrow.
Other than Evers, Walker will be facing off against four other candidates.
