Multiple Reports of Dogs Possibly Poisoned in Rice Lake

DULUTH, Minn. – The St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office is warning the public of recent reports that dogs may have been poisoned in the City of Rice Lake.
Multiple pet owners have reported their dogs getting sick for no clear reason and at least two owners have found their dogs deceased.
Authorities are asking residents to be on alert for any suspicious activity and to keep their pets close by.
The Sheriff’s Office states there is no connection between the owners who have reported these incidents, nor are all the homes near one another.
