Biwabik Trailer House Damaged in Afternoon Fire

A Wood Stove is Suspected to be the Cause of the Fire

BIWABIK, Minn. – A trailer house in Biwabik was extensively damaged in a Tuesday afternoon fire.

Firefighters from over half a dozen Iron Range fire departments responded to the fire in the 400 block of West Railroad Drive North around 12:50 p.m.

There were no injuries reported in in the fire.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation, but a wood stove is suspected.

Departments responding to the fire included: Biwabik, Biwabik Township, Aurora, Lakeland, Palo, Gilbert, and Virginia.
