Caribou Coffee Says 265 Locations Affected by Security Data Breach
Four Duluth Locations Are Involved in the Breach

DULUTH, Minn. – A handful of Duluth Caribou Coffee locations were involved in a recent data breach involving access to customer’s payment card information that affected 265 Caribou stores.
According to a Data Security Notice sent out by the company, on November 28 the company identified unusual activity on their network though their information security monitoring system.
The company says the unauthorized access to customer’s personal data was stopped immediately and they are confident the breach has been contained.
According to Caribou, “If you visited any of our company-owned Caribou locations between August 28 and December 3 there is a possibility that your name and credit card information, including card number, expiration date and cars security code may have been accessed as a result of this unauthorized activity.”
Duluth Caribou locations affected by the breach include:
- Duluth – Stoneridge
- Duluth – Canal Park
- Duluth – Miller Hill Mall
- Duluth – Supervalu
The company says they sincerely apologize for the breach and are working to help prevent any security issues from occurring in the future.
