Essentia Health Purchases Former Miller Hill Mall Younkers Location

DULUTH, Minn. – The former Younkers store in the Miller Hill Mall has been purchased by Essentia Health, according to hospital officials.

The announcement came Monday afternoon with the company saying in a press release, “Essentia Health has purchased the former Younkers store at the Miller Hill Mall in Duluth. The acquisition will allow the Northland’s largest health care provider to offer a variety of services to its patients at a convenient location. A number of options are being considered for developing this property. Those plans will be announced when they are finalized.”

The Duluth Younkers store closed its doors for good on August 31.
