Madeline Island Ice Road Open to the General Public

MADELINE ISLAND, Wis. – According to a recent Facebook post, the Madeline Island Ice Road is officially open to the general public.

The road is currently only open to cars and light trucks. At this time no heavy loads are permitted.

Ice road officials are reminding drivers to travel at their own risk and remember everything is subject to change at a moment’s notice.
